If I want to switch my dog to raw diet should I do it little by little ? Is there any other way to avoid the diarrhea? Every time I try to switch my dog she gets bloody diarrhea 😢

My mom complained that we have to zhuzh up our dogs' food because they're picky about the kibble we have. Quote, "I'm not making a dish for the queen. It's for the dogs." Most of us can't afford to feed like this which is why kibble is used. I won't do kibble anymore, but i can't afford to feed raw. I started freeze dried which is still pricey but more me doable for my household since I can cut back on small luxuries for myself i don't need to make it affordable

Anything is better than kibble and grocery store is where us mortal shop

I didn’t eat liver til I was in my 20s because I was put off by what people would say about the texture. Highly recommend trying it at least once. Many great ways to have it, but barbecued or grilled, it’s wonderful. Chicken liver is my favorite.

I just recently almost lost my boy to a urinary blockage. He started with trouble using the bathroom and then he had blood in his urine. We took him to the vet three or four times and each time they gave him a steroid shot and fluids. After the emergency appointment on a Saturday morning they told us we could have surgery on Monday to shorten his urethra to prevent a blockage! He is now doing amazing, he has no problems going to the bathroom and is so vocal now. i’m so grateful we have an amazing vet who preformed the procedure and simply saved his life. It’s so weird how one day they can decide something stresses them out and then they’re gone. Hugs and good vibes to the op.

My young dog has started getting lipomas. They eat a grain-free diet, salmon oil, freeze-dried sprats and chicken hearts

My dog loved these but his body did not. He would get so bound up from them after about a week, then start vomiting for days. After some tests, our vet said it was because some dogs can’t do raw animal parts. Specifically bone and organ meats. The vet said they were too fibrous for his digestive system. So I have to stick to kibble and something like Ollie or farmers Dog as an additive.

This is great I tried this with my picky eater but I just cooked the ground beef instead of raw and added coconut oils and fish oil and he ate the entire things. He never ate his other foods before until I switched to cooked and and the dr Harvey’s veggies👌
